My wonderful world of wines begins within the fabulous Napa Valley, with a great passion for wines, and all the amazing people who help produce them. Wines have truly become a great influence in my life, so much so that I became a trained certified wine specialist. My greatest joy is sharing my knowledge of wines and wineries with all the wine enthusiasts I meet.
In addition to owning my own business as a wine educator and tour coordinator, I also provide translation services for Japanese speakers who want to learn about wines and the greater Napa Valley. That makes me an ideal partner for wineries wishing to create or expand their Japanese market, or who have special needs regarding Japanese clients.
Previous work experiences have also broadened my skills and expertise in the wine industry. As Corporate and events manager at Kenzo Estates I organized and planned many special events for all different types of occasions, as well as providing site tours and direct wine sales.
While working for the Napa Valley Wine Train, my responsibilities included, but were not limited to international marketing, wine merchandising, and sales. Within my six years at the Wine Train, wine sales increased to Japan year after year, and Japanese guests increased over 20%, and internet correspondence from Japan increased over 300%.
